Description
The 1890 Chest is made of vintage rust metal, that’s purified and coated with a transparent lacquer, conserving the small remnants of rust. The sunburned timber planks originate from the facade of a building built in 1890 and is covered with a wax and oil coating that ensures that the surface retains its weather worn character. When opening the chest, one will find the planks roughly planed and coated with a transparent varnish.
The chest on the casters can’t be dismantled and the wheels mounted on the axle are without bearings. The underlining is pristine and when moving the chest you’ll hear faint squeaks.
